wilson, 697-7463 conf. w/ panosh 5-26-98 p says that he fully intends to use the janet smith thing in the murder case he knows that we are going to have TO put ronnie on and put on character evid. for him as soon as we put on our char. wits., then panosh will bring this stuff out in rebuttal because ronnie says in one of his letters that if the affair btw. him and janet came out he would have to deny it. so this shows that he is a liar. he would also want to use it becs. his theory is that ronnie's real purpose was not to have sex witH janet but to kill her and escape. he got every bit of security inFo out of her that he could and she gave it to him. (this according to panosh--it glosses over the Fact that ronnie is just trying to figure out where they can go to be alone.)
p also says
that he has reinterviewed dobesh. and he is adamant that dobesh was
here that weekend and the records bear that out becs. that was the
only 96 hr weekend pass he got--he says that he had to eave early
that afternoon to get back to base because he had to set up chairs
for a service at 7 p.m. he says that he thinks dobesh may have been
solicited but then back tracks on that and says that dobesh was
supposed to take all the loot in his pickup to make it look like a
real b&e. he says that ronnie was seen that a.m. at lyles with
another marine and initially they showed the wits a photo line-up
with sliverthorn but he was not identified--they are going to show
the wits a photo lineup with dobesh in it- he says that dobesh shows
kim is lying. KIM SAYS
