7. Narrative:
On Tuesday, October 10, 1995 Mr. Steve Frye of 2200 Brandon Station Dr. came the scene of the DBI and was interviewed regarding the death of Patricia Kimble. Mr. Frye lives on the corner of Brandon Station and Hwy 22. His residence is located across the highway from the Kimble residence.
 

Mr. Frye stated that between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. he was working in his yard when he saw smoke in the direction of the Kimble residence. He said that he thought someone might have been burning a brush pile in the woods around the Kimble residence. From his house you can't see the Kimble residence for the trees. He said there was not a lot of smoke and it was staying close to the ground. That's why he thought is was burning brush. He didn't see a car leave from the cul-de-sac, however he was busy in the yard and didn't pay close attention to any movement from that street.
