MR. ALVIS FUEL STATED THAT HE HAS KNOWN TED KIMBLE SINCE HE WORKED

BEEN THERE SINCE 1987 OR SO. MR. FUEL STATED THAT HE HAD NOT BOUGHT
ANY ITEMS FROM TED OR HIS WIFE, WHICH MEANT THAT THEY HAD PAWNED
SOMETHING. HE STATED THAT TED BOUGHT TOOLS AND OTHER ITEMS AND WHEN
HE GOT MARRIED HE BROUGHT HIS WIFE IN AND INTRODUCED HER TO HIM AND
SHE BEGAN TO BUY ITEMS. AFTER THE MARRIAGE THEY BOUGHT EACH OTHER
ITEMS FROM JEWELRY TO TOOLS.
ALVIS STATED THAT THESE WERE CASH SALES AND THERE ARE NO RECORDS
KEPT ON CASH SALES. HE STATED THAT HE COULD PROBABLY FIND THE DATE
AND THE AMOUNT OF THE SALE BUT NOT WHO BOUGHT THE ITEM IF WE CAN
TELL WHAT THE ITEM BOUGHT WAS.
HE STATED THAT TED'S MOTHER BROUGHT IN SOME JEWELRY THAT BELONGED TO
HIM THAT CAME OUT OF THE FIRE TO BE CLEANED ON 10/16/95. HE STATED
THAT HE WAS NOT SURE WHAT THE JEWELRY WAS BUT HE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS
A 1 KT DIAMOND HEART PENDANT, DIAMOND EARRINGS, A WATCH AND OR HOOP
EARRINGS.
MR. FUEL STATED THAT IN HIS OPINION THEY WERE THE LOVING COUPLE. HEA

THINGS FOR EACH OTHER. HE STATED THAT TED ALSO BOUGHT A LOT OF CD'S.
HE STATED THAT TO HIS KNOWLEDGE THEY WERE CHURCH GOING PEOPLE AS
WELL AS HIS PARENTS.
MR. FUEL STATED THAT HE HAS MET TED'S BROTHER BUT IT HAS BEEN A LONG
TIME SINCE FEE HAS SEEN HIM. HE STATED THAT HIS BROTHER APPEARED TO
BE VERY MILITARY INCLINED. HE SAID THAT TED'S BROTHER HAS BOUGHT
ITEMS FROM HIM AND THATS THE EXTENT OF HIS KNOWING HIM.

A-Alvis likes my family & would only say
positive things. He's also scarred to get involved because
they would hassle him.
MR. FUEL
ALSO STATED THAT WE MIGHT GET SOME INFORMATION FROM A GREG MARK WHO
WORKS FOR CHEM-DRY CARPET CO. OF GREENSBORO. HE HAS CLEANED TED'S
CARPET ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE VICTIM MAY HAVE MENTIONED TO GREG
MARK ABOUT THE BREAK-IN AT THEIR RESIDENCE WHILE HE WAS THERE
CLEANING ONE [unreadable word].
MR. FUEL AND I ALSO DISCUSSED THE FACT THAT IF TED HAD A BURGLAR
ALARM ON THE BUSINESS, HE MAY HAVE SET IT BEFORE HE LEFT THE
BUSINESS AND THE DATE AND TIME SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECORDED BY THE
ALARM COMPANY. MR. FUEL STATED THAT TED AND HIS FAMILY WERE GOOD
FRIENDS TO DAVE BUTTLER. HE SAID THAT BUTTLER EVEN JOINED TED'S
FATHERS CHURCH.
