Ted Kimble's handwritten notes are included.
Guilford County Sheriff's Department
4. Narrative: I SPOKE WITH GARY RILEY BU PHONE AT THE MARYLAND INSURANCE CO. TODAY. GARY STATED THAT ANOTHER INSURANCE INVESTIGATOR WAS GETTING STATEMENTS FROM THE PEOPLE THAT HELPED IN THE INVENTORY ATA TED AND PATRICIAS HOUSE. GARY SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT GO STRAIGHT TO TED ANYMORE THAT TED HAD WAYLON COOK AS HIS ATTORNEY AND THAT THE MEETING HAD BEEN SET UP FOR TODAY 10MAY96 AT COOKS OFFICE. GARY SAID IT WOULD BE INTRESTING TO SEE WHAT ANSWERS THEY GAVE TO JUSTIFY THE INVENTORY THAT WAS SENT TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY, THE $191,000.00 CLAIM.D I ASKED GARY TO KEEP ME INFORMED AS TO WHAT THEIR COMPANY DOES AND IFB ANY PAYMENT IS MADE TO TED. CI ALSO INFORMED HIM THAT TED WAS STILL CALLING LIFE OF GEORGIA ATTEMPTING TO COLLECT THE $50,000.00 LIFE INSURANCE MONEY.
(158) A-Are there statements from the people who helped inventory that we don't know about? B-I agreed and did sign the money over to the estate. North and Cook said it was the only way they would pay. C-Note the conspiracy D-There was only $60,000 worth of "Replacement Value insurance!" The company would depreciate everything. If I replaced the item they would pay the difference, If I didn't I couldn't get the full value of the item.
