20MARCH96 DET. CHURCH AND AGENT CHILDRES AND AGENT PENDERGRASS DROVE
TO CAMP LAJUENE MARINE CORPS BASE TO INTERVIEW RONNIE KIMBLE. WE
WERE WORKING WITH G. GREGORY MUNROE SPECIAL AGENT WITH NAVAL
CRIMINIAL INVESTIGATIVE SERVICE AND AGENT DOYLE E. YOUNG WITH THE
SAME AGENCY.
AGENT MUNROE
SPOKE WITH RONNIE KIMBLE AT HIS WORKPLACE ON THE BASE AND THE FIRST
THING AGENT MUNROE SAID RONNIE DID WAS TELL HIM THAT HE WASN'T GOING
WITH HIM THAT HE HAD ALREADY GIVEN STATEMENTS TO THEM AND TO THE
SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. MUNROE TALKED TO HIM A WHILE ABOUT WHY HE
WOULDN'T SPEAK WITH THE SBI AND THAT HE SHOULD COOPERATE AND RONNIE
SAID THAT HE HAD TO CALL HIS FATHER FIRST AND IN FACT CALLED HIS
FATHER AND TOLD MUNROE THAT HIS FATHER TOLDA
HIM NOT TO TALK TO ANYONE ABOUT PATRICIAS MURDER. 5. Reporting Officer/Assignment: DET. J.D. CHURCH MAJOR CRIMES SECTION 311 AWe were all fed-up with the detectives.
