Narrative: THE FOLLOWING IS AN INTERVIEW WITH E-4 PETTY OFFICER 3RD
CLASS ERINN MONET WILSON, RELIGIOUS PROGRAM SPECIALIST BASE CHAPLINS
OFFICE, CAMP LEJEUNE MCB. INTERVIEW WAS CONDUCTED AT THE NAVAL
CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE SERVICE OFFICE AT CAMP LEJEUNE MCB ON
04MARCH97 1005 HRS. ERINN WILSON
WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE NAVAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE OFFICE AT CAMP
LEJEUNE BY SPECIAL AGENTS GREGORY MUNROE AND SAMUEL WORTH FOR AN
INTERVIEW WITH SA AGENT HAROLD PENDERGRASS AND I ABOUT ANY
INFORMATION ON THE MURDER OF PATRICIA KIMBLE. WILSON STATED THAT SHE
HAD BEEN IN THE NAVY FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS AND SOME MONTHS. SHE
HAS BEEN ASSIGNED TO THE BASE CHAPLINS OFFICE SINCE FEBRUARY OF
1994. WILSON STATED THAT SHE KNEW RONNIE KIMBLE SINCE HE WAS
ASSIGNED TO THE AREA WHERE SHE WORKS. SHE FIRST HEARD ABOUT THE
DEATH OF PATRICIA KIMBLE WHEN IT WAS ANNOUNCED BY A SUPERIOR AND WAS
INFORMED THAT LAW ENFORCEMENT MIGHT BE COMMING TO SPEAK WITH THE
PERSONNEL THAT WORKED WITH KIMBLE. THE PERSON WHO ANNOUNCED THIS WAS
THE SENIOR ENLISTED PERSON AT THE TIME. IT ALSO WAS
ANNOUNCED BECAUSE KIMBLE HAD BEEN QUESTIONED ABOUT THE CRIME. WILSON SAID
THAT KIMBLE WAS ALWAYS HELPFUL AND SPEAKS OF HIS FAMILY OFTEN BUT
SHE DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIM OR HIS FAMILY. SHE ALSO DID NOT
KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIS BEHAVIOR BEFORE OR AFTER THE DEATH OF
PATRICIA. WILSON SAID
SHE HAD NEVER SEEN HIM MAD BUT HAD SEEN HIM IRRITATED OVER HIS WORK. WILSON
FURTHER STATED THAT SHE HAD NEVER BEEN IN A DISCUSSION WITH KIMBLE
OR ANYONE ELSE WHERE KIMBLE HAD BEEN THE PERSON WHO KILLED PATRICIA.
DOES NOT KNOW ANYONE IN PARTICULAR THAT LIKES OR DISLIKES TO WORK
WITH KIMBLE. WILSON
DESCRIBED KIMBLE AS BEING A SLOW AND SIMPLE PERSON. BY SLOW SHE
INDICATED THAT KIMBLE WAS NOT A FAST THINKER AND DID NOT ACT VERY
EDUCATED. WILSON
STATED THAT SHE WOULD HELP IN ANY WAY SHE COULD AND WOULD COME
FOWARD WITH ANY INFORMATION THAT SHE MIGHT OBTAIN AFTER THIS
