THIS INTERVIEW IS A SECOND CONCERNING THE INSURANCE THAT MR JARRELL HAD SOLD TED AND PATRICIA KIMBLE.
MR JARRELL SAID THAT TED AND PATRICIA HAD TAKEN A SECOND $25,000.00 LIFE
A POLICY ON PATRICIA IN APRIL OF 1995 AND THAT WHEN HE DELIVERED THE POLICY TO PATRICIA AT CINIMMON RIDGE THAT SHE ASKED ABOUT A DENTAL PLANB AND THAT SHE MIGHT BE INTRESTED IN ONE. MR JARRELL GAVE HER THE INFORMATION ON THE DENTAL PLAN AND LEFT. APPROXIMATELY FIVE MONTHS LATER JARRELL RECEIVED A CALL FROM TED KIMBLE AND TED ASKED ABOUT THE DENTAL PLAN AND ASKED HIM TO COME BY HIS BUSINESS. JARRELL WENT BY LYLES BUILDING MATERIAL THE NEXT MORNING AND SPOKE WITH TED ABOUT THE DENTAL PLAN AND TED BOUGHT THE DENTAL PLAN THAT DAY. JARRELL SAIDC THE DATE WOULD BE ON THE DENTAL PLAN APPLICATION. JARRELL WENT HOMED THAT EVENING AND HIS WIFE TOLD HIM THAT TED KIMBLE HAD CALLED. JARRELL CALLED TED THE NEXT MORNING AND TED INQUIRED ABOUT LIFE INSURANCE ON HIS WIFE IN THE AMOUNTS UP $200.000.00. JARRELL ADVISED TED THAT HEE WOULD COME TO HIS BUSINESS AND SPEAK WITH HIM ABOUT IT. JARRELL WENT ON BY LYLES BUILDING MAT. THAT DAY AND SPOKE WITH TED ABOUT THE INSURANCEF AND ALSO TOLD HIM ABOUT A CANCER PLAN THAT HE HAD AND TED BOUGHT THEG CANCER PLAN THAT DAY. WHEN JARRELL GOT HOME THAT DAY HIS WIFE TOLD HIM THAT TED HAD CALLED AGAIN AND WANTED JARRELL TO CALL HIM AND STATED THAT JARRELL WAS GOING TO BE A RICH MAN BECAUSE OF ALL THE INSURANCE POLICIESH THAT HE WAS BUYING.
JARRELL WENT BACK TO LYLES BUILDING MATERIALS THE NEXT DAY OR THE DAY AFTER. TED TOOK A $25,000.00 POLICY ON HIMSELF AND PUT HIS FATHER AS THE BENEFACTOR. THIS $25,000.00 WAS PERMENANT INSURANCE. TED ALSO TOLD JARRELL AT THE SAME TIME THAT HE WANTED A $200,000.00 POLICY ON HIS WIFE PATRICIA.  TED STATED THAT THERE WAS NO REASON FOR JARRELL TO GO TO
I CINNAMON RIDGE WHERE SHE WORKED THAT SHE WAS COMMING THERE AND TED GAVE JARRELL THE INFORMATION FOR THIS POLICY. JARRELL TOLD TED THAT THEY WOULD HAVE
TO GO BY PORT-A-MEDIC
J FOR A PHYSICAL ON THE $200,000.00 AND THE 100,000.00 THAT TED HAD ON HIMSELF. JARRELL WAITED FOR SOME TIME ON PATRICIA TO COME TO LYLES AND WHEN SHE GOT THERE TED ASKED JARRELLK FOR A BROCHURE ON LIFE INSURANCE AND JARRELL WENT TO THE CAR AND SPOKEL TO PAT SAYING, HI, AS SHE WAS GOING INTO THE BUILDING. WHEN JARRELL GOT THE INFORMATION THAT TED HAD ASKED FOR AND STARTED BACK IN THE BUILDING PATRICIA WAS COMMING OUT AND JARRELL ASKED IF SHE WAS LEAVING AND PATRICIA DIDN'T ANSWER OR SPEAK AND GOT IN HER CAR AND DROVE AWAY.M JARRELL WENT ON IN THE OFFICE AT LYLES AND TOLD TED THAT HE NEEDED FOR PATRICIA TO SIGN THE APPLICATION. TED SAID THAT SHE HAD ALREADY SIGNED THE APPLICATION WHILE SHE WAS IN THE OFFICE AND GAVE IT TO JARRELL WITH PATRICIAS NAME SIGNED ON IT. JARRELL SAID THAT HE KNEW HE WAS SUPPOSED TO SEE PATRICIA SIGN THE APPLICATION, BUT HE SAW HER GO IN THE OFFICE AND JUST THOUGHT SHE ACTUALLY DID SIGN THE APPLICATION, BUT FOUND OUT THAT SHE IN FACT DID NOT SIGN THE APPLICATION AND TED FORGED HER NAME ON IT WITHOUTN HER PERMISSION. JARRELL TOOK THE APPLICATION FROM TED AND TED WENT TO A SMALL BUILDING ON THE PROPERTY AND GOT JARRELL

*It's plain to see J.D. Church [unreadable] he writes them to say what he wants them to say.

APatricia took care of this (after we argued)

BWhy would she just ask?  Page 203 shows her teeth and their great.  Patricia thinks insurance is a waist of money (It must have been me)

C9/11/95 We need a copy of cancer & dental policys (I don't remember buying Dental)

DI didn't call his house.  He was pushing insurance on 9/11/95 and was going to run some quotes and return on 9/12/95.  How many insurance salesmen only try to sale you one policy?

EJerrell quoted me on several amounts of insurance.

FNotice "that day," "next day".  In the statement a year before it was a different story.  See page 166 (e).  He did keep coming trying to sale me insurance.

GTrue

HSaid something similar but can't recall.  The call wasn't in this order.

INever happed. She came by and dropped off lunch and left.  Jerrell left the application with me to have her sign it.

JIt was 150,000 plus the 25,000

KHe said the information he went to the car for was on the cancer policy, see page 167 (A)

LI'm not sure he even went to the car.  I believe Patricia brought lunch in and set it down.  Stated she didn't have time to talk about it, she had to go and she left.

MHe claims she drove off but a year earlier he didn't state this.

NHow did he find this out? See page 167 (N) (Front) He lives in Winston Salem.  I called and told him that I signed it and he should rewrite the policy and let her sign it.  He said it would be O.K. when she went for the physical everything would work out.  He was afraid of loosing the sale.

CASH FOR THE LIFE INSURANCE THAT WAS BEING APPLIED FOR.
JARRELL CALLED PATRICIA THE NEXT MORNING AT HER WORKPLACE AND TOLD HER HE NEEDED SOME INFORMATION FOR THE INSURANCE POLICY THAT TED AND HER HAD TAKEN THE DAY BEFORE. JARRELL ASKED HER WHO HER DOCTOR WAS AND WHEN THE THAT VISIT WAS AND WHAT IT WAS FOR. PATRICIA ASKED JARRELL WHY HE NEEDED THIS INFORMATION FOR A CANCER POLICY.
B JARRELL TOLD HER THAT IT WASN'T A CANCER POLICY THAT IT WAS A LIFE INSURANCE POLICY FOR
$200,000.00 AND WONDERED WHY SHE THOUGHT IT WAS A CANCER POLICY.
JARRELL SAID PATRICIA DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING ELSE AND SLAMED
A THE PHONE DOWN. JARRELL CALLED TED TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND TED TOLD HIMC NOT TO PAY ANY ATTENTION TO PATRICIA BECAUSE SHE WAS UPSET THAT MORNING. TED DIDN'T SAY WHAT PATRICIA WAS UPSET ABOUT AND JARRELL DIDN'T ASK. JARRELL SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR TED AND PATRICIA AT PORT-A-MEDIC FOR A WEDNESDAY AND TED CALLED JARRELL ON TUESDAY NIGHT AND SAID TOLD HIM THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO MAKE THE MEETING FOR THE NEXT DAYD FOR THE PHYSICAL. JARRELL TOLD TED TO CALL PORT-A-MEDIC FIRST THING THE NEXT MORNING AND LET THEM KNOW AND GET A SECOND APPOINTMENT SET UP.
JARRELL DIDN'T HEAR FROM TED ANY MORE UNTIL 110CT95 WHEN TED CALLED HIM AT HIS OFFICE AND TOLD HIM THAT PATRICIA WAS KILLS AND ASKED IF THE $200,000.00 WOULD PAY OFF. JARRELL ASKED TED IF THEY HAD GOTTEN THE PHYSICAL AND BLOOD WORK DONE AND TED SAID, "NO", AND JARRELL TOLD HIM THAT THE INSURANCE WOULD NOT PAY BECAUSE THE APPLICATION PROCESS WAS NOT COMPLETED. JARRELL SAID TED REPLIED "IT WON"T, WHY NOT?", AND JARRELL EXPLAINED AGAIN WHY THE POLICY WOULD NOT PAY AND TED GOT UPSET
E AND STATED THAT HE THOUGHT HE HAD TOLD HIM THAT IF HE GOT DIED BEFORE THE PHYSICAL THAT THE INSURANCE WOULD PAY. JARRELL TOLD HIM AGAIN THAT THE APPLICATION WAS NOT COMPLETE AND THAT PATRICIA DIDN'T JUST DIE, THAT SHE WAS MURDERED AND THAT NO INSURANCE WOULD PAY UNTIL AN INVESTIGATION WAS DONE. TED CALLED JARRELL TWO MORE TIMES ABOUT THE INSURANCE POLICYF AND ALSO ASKED ABOUT THE TWO $25,000.00 POLICIES THAT HE HAD ON PATRICIA. JARRELL TOLD TED TO GET HIM A COPY OF THE DEATH CERTIFICT AND DO A CLAIM FORM. JARRELL WENT BY LYLES AND GOT TED TO SIGN A CLAIM FORMG AND GOT A COPY OF THE DEATH CERTIFICT.

JARRELL SAID THAT TED CALLED HIM SEVERAL TIMES AFTER THIS TELLING HIM THAT THE COMPANY WOULD NOT PAY BECAUSE HE WAS A SUSPECT AND WANTING JARRELL TO HELP HIM IN GETTING THE MONEY FROM THE TWO $25,000.00 POLICIES. HE TOLD JARRELL THAT HE WAS IN FACT A SUSPECT. JARRELLH TOLD HIM THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO CONTACT THE MAIN OFFICE THAT HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH WHETHER THE COMPANY PAID OR DIDN'T PAY. TED ALSO TOLD JARRELL THAT PATRICIA ALSO HAD A $25,000.00 POLICY AT HER WORK BUT THAT HER MOTHER WAS THE BENIFICIARY AND THAT HE HAD ASKED HER MOTHER FOR THE MONEYI AND THAT SHE HAD TOLD HIM THAT SHE WOULD GIVE IT TO HIM. IN ONE OF THE PHONE CALLS AFTER PATRICIAS DEATH TED ASKED JARRELL IF THE POLICY WOULD PAY DOUBLE, OR WAS DOUBLE INDEMENTY AND TED WAS TOLD, NO.J JARRELL SAID THAT TED HAD CALLED HIM AS LATE AS THE FIRST WEEK IN AUGUST 1996 ABOUT THE INSURANCE POLICIES. HE ALSO SAID THAT HE HAD GOT A PACK OF PAPERS FROM TEDS ATTORNEY ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND WHEN HE REALIZED WHATK THEY WERE THAT HE SENT THEM ON TO THE HOME OFFICE IN ATLANTA. TED HAD ASKED DURING THE APPLICATION THAT IF HE GOT KILLED IN AN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT WOULD THE INSURANCE PAY AND JARRELL TOLD HIM THATL THE APPLICATION PROCESS HAD TO BE COMPLETE AND APPROVED AND THEN THEY WOULD PAY.
JARRELL FURTHER STATED THAT HE THOUGHT AFTER ALL HAS HAPPENED THAT TED ACTUALLY BELIEVED THAT THE $200,000.00 WOULD BE PAID. THE REASON FOR THIS IS BECAUSE TED TOLD JARRELL THAT HE THOUGHT JARRELL HAD TOLD HIM THAT THE INSURANCE WOULD PAY IF SOMEONE DIED BUT TED HAD TOLD JARRELL THAT HE THOUGHT HE HAD BEEN TOLD THAT THE $200,000.00 WOULD PAY IF PATRICIA GOT KILLED BEFORE SHE HAD THE PHYSICAL.
I never said This!

AOn the 1st statement he said she replied "Oh, Ok." p 167 H.

BI thault I paid for a cancer policy for her also but I've never seen it.

CPatricia called me about it and I said we would talk about it when we got home.  Jerrell called & I told him the same.  Patricia and I argued about it that evening.  (Se acted the same way back in March, she thault it was a waist of money).  Over the following 1 or 2 days we talked it out and she agreed.  I called Jerrel and told him I signed the policy.  I told him he could call Patricia and clear everything with her.  *See page 169 (N).  He never called Patricia as far as I know.  Port-a-medic calls me at work wanting to get us in.  They were as pushy as the salesman.

DP.F.G. had me on First Shift see page 167 (J)

EJD Church wrote this statement.  Jerrell didn't say this a year earlier.  See p. 168 (A)

FThe way this is worded I never ask about the 2 x 25,000 policy when I first called, I only ask about the 200,000.

GI did sign a claim.  Why did the insurance company say I never did?

HHe told me to get a lawyer.

II didn't ask Sheila for the money.  I told her that  she was the beneficiary and that Patricia had forgotten to change it.  She said, Don't worry about it I'll give it to you.  "The following week that changed."

JHe didn't say this on page 168

KIf I had a lawyer why was I calling him?  I may have inquired about my refund.  I believe I called the main office asking for my money but not about the policys

LWe were speaking of the single 50,000 policy on me.  The agent can approve up to $99,000 on the spot without the physical.  From the moment I paid him I was covered on this policy.

MPage 167(I) He claims I called 10 times, but on this page he claims I never called.
