herewith is a filed copy of a court order entered by Judge William
Freeman on the 16th day of March, 1998 directing the Sheriff's
Department of Guilford County to provide Ronnie Lee Kimble, his
attorneys, David Lloyd and myself, and his duly appointed
investigator, Mike Ingold, with records and information of the cells
and/or locations in which Ronnie Lee Kimble has been house during
his incarceration and the identities of all other inmates with whom
Ronnie Lee Kimble may have come in contact. We would also appreciate
information regarding who the custodial officers were assigned to
those floors at those times. As David
Lloyd and I told you when we saw you in the lobby of the Sheriff's
Department, we are very grateful for your cooperation in providing
us with this information. We know you are very busy and we do not
wish to put additional pressure on you or your staff but we would
appreciate it if we could have these documents within the next
couple of weeks. Thank you
