Dear Mr. Hatfield:

Jail records can only be supplied by a subpeona signed by a Superior Court Judge.

Mr. Hatfield, to produce this detailed report, would require a minimum of two (2) people several days to research and copy approximately 250 pieces of paper at the cost of $1.00 per copy. This would total $250.00 for the copies, plus the salary of two (2) persons salary for at least three (3) days to research and produce these documents. We do not have the extra personnel to assign to this task. If we are required by a Superior Court Judge to produce these documents, the expense would have to be born by your office or the office of the District Attorney. In addition, it would be impossible to know all the inmates Mr. Ronnie Kimble has came in contact with and a Private Investigator can not receive or search the confidential jail records.

If you have any questions, you may call me at (336) 412-6108.

Sincerely,

/signature/

Major J. G. Nesbit

Director of Detention Bureau
