1. Incident Number:
4. Narrative: ON
MONDAY 28JULY97 PATRICK PARDEE BROUGHT A COPY OF THE CANCELED CHECK
THAT HE HAD WRITTEN TED KIMBLE BY MY OFFICE. A COPY IS ALL THAT IS
AVAILABLE BECAUSE HIS BANK DOES NOT SEND THE ACTUAL CHECKS BACK IN A
MONTHLY STATEMENT AND PATRICK HAD TO ORDER A COPY OF THIS CHECK. THE
CHECK IS DRAWN ON THE GREENSBORO POSTAL CREDIT UNION, CHECK NUMBER
686 AND IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,500.00, FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDERD
PATRICK TOLD ME THAT
TED HAD COME TO HIM AND ASKED TO BORROW THE MONEY BECAUSE THE
BUSINESS NEEDED CAPITAL, THAT HE NEEDED TO PAY FOR MATERIALS THAT HE
HAD ORDERED AND THAT HAD BEEN DELIVERED AND THAT HE COULD NOTA
GET ADDITIONAL MATERIALS UNTIL HE PAID THE OUTSTANDING BILL.
I ASKED IF TED HAD PAID HIM THE $5,500.00 BACK AND PATRICK TOLD ME THAT TED PAID BACK $4,000.00 AT ONE TIME AND THAT HE HAD PAID HIM ANOTHER $1,000.00 BACK IN SMALL AMOUNTS, $50.00, $100 AT A TIME AND THE LAST TIME HE GAVE HIM MONEY ON THE LOAN WAS TWO OR THREE WEEKSB BEFORE HE WAS ARRESTED.
5. Reporting Officer/Assignment: DET. J.D. CHURCH
AI didn't need materials. I had plenty. I needed to sale. He's making the stuff up. I try and spred my buying out. I might not have the money at the time I order it but I get 30 days to pay for it. By spreading the orders out the billing is spred out. Slow sales mean slow cash flow.
BPatric didn't loan me any money. I kept paying he and Rob.
