THE FOLLOWING IS THE STATEMENT GIVEN TO DET. CHURCH IN AN INTERVIEW WITH MELISSA JEAN WILLIFORD AT HER WORKPLACE.

ON OCTOBER 9, 1995 I WAS EMPLOYED BY WINN DIXIE AT THE FOREST OAKS SHOPPING CENTER. I WAS ON LIGHT DUTY WORK BECAUSE OF KNEE SURGERY I HAD HAD IN JULY. I MET KIMBERLY KIMBLE WHILE GOING TO PHYSICAL THERPY AND HAD KNOWN HER FOR APPROXIMATELY TWO OR TWO AND ONE HALF MONTHS AT THE TIME, OCTOBER 9, 1995. I REMEMBER KIMBERLY BEING IN THE STORE ON OCTOBER 9, 1995 AND WE TALKED FOR A FEW MINUTES ABOUT MY KNEE PROBLEM AND KIMBERLY WANTED SOME TYPE FISH SO I GOT SOMEONE TO HELP HER WITH THE FISH. I REMEMBER SEEING KIMBERLY IN THE STORE THREE OR FOUR Two or Three TIMES FROM THE APPROXIMATE TWO MONTHS THAT I HAD KNOWN HER AND I REMEMBER HER HUSBAND RONNIE BEING WITH HER ON
ONE OF THE OCCASIONS, BUT I DON'T REMEMBER WHICH TIME HE WAS WITH HER. I REMEMBER KIMBERLY TELLING ME RONNIE WAS HER HUSBAND ONE OF THE TIMES SHE WAS IN THE STORE AND I TOLD HER THAT HE WAS A GOOD LOOKING MAN, BUT I JUST DON'T REMEMBER WHICH TIME IT WAS.
 

I REMEMBER AFTER WORK ON OCTOBER 9, 1995 I WAS DRIVING HOME ON HIGHWAY 22 AND SAW THE FIRE TRUCKS AT BRANDON STATION COURT, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW WHY THEY WERE THERE OR WHOSE HOUSE WAS ON FIRE.

Statement of witness

On October 9, 1995 I was employed by Winn Dixie at the Forest Oaks Shopping Center. I was on light duty work because of knee surgery I had had in July. I met Kimberly Kimble while going to physical therpy and had known her for approximately two or two and one half months at the time. I remember Kimberly being in the store on October 9, 1995 and we talked for a few minutes about my knee problem and Kimberly wanted some type fish so I got someone to help her with the fish. I remember seeing kimberly in the store two or three times from the approximate two months that I had known her and I remember her husband ronnie being with her on one of the occasions, but I don't remember which time he was with her.^A I remember kimberly telling me Ronnie was her husband one of the times she was in the store and I told her that he was a good looking man, but I just don't remember which time it was.
 

I remember after work on October 9, 1995 1 was driving home on Highway 22 and saw the fire trucks at Brandon Station Court, but I Didn't know why they were there or whose house was on fire.
